Project 14-1240 – November 27, 2025 update
Streets affected: Dixie Road and Williams Parkway
Project update
As part of the Flow | Central Brampton Program, Peel Region has been installing new watermains along Dixie Road. This work is required to keep providing you with high-quality water.
Work has started to restore the intersection, and traffic changes will happen in stages.
We expect the work to be finished during the week of December 8, though this may change due to weather or other unexpected events.
What to expect
- Line painting
- Repairs to the median islands
- Traffic signals will be returned to their normal positions and settings
Each activity will require different traffic setups. Please follow posted lane shifts, detours and signs while this work is underway. Paid Duty Officers will be on site to help manage traffic and keep the area safe.
Traffic impacts
Traffic may be reduced to a single lane or shifted to different lanes at times.
Signs, pylons and Paid Duty Officers will be in place to give clear directions when these changes are occurring
Some activities such as line painting will take place in the evening and overnight hours when traffic is lightest
