Project 14-1240 – February 3, 2026 update
Streets affected: Dixie Road, south of Williams Parkway (site 9)
Project update
As part of the Flow | Central Brampton Program, Peel Region has been installing new watermains along Dixie Road.
Under the City of Brampton Noise Bylaw, work is allowed to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. to reduce the impact of our work. It will take place on the west side of Dixie Road, just south of Williams Parkway.
Schedule
This work is expected to take place on weekdays from Monday, February 9, until Friday, February 20, 2026, excluding Monday, February 16. Additional days may be required due to weather and other unexpected events.
Noise
We do not expect significant noise or vibrations above normal daytime construction levels during this time. Efforts will be made to reduce impacts to local residents.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Visit peelregion.ca/workzonesafety for more information.
