Street affected: Mississauga Road

Road closure and detour notice

• Mississauga Road will be temporarily closed from Bovaird Drive West to Yardmaster Drive.
• Through traffic is not permitted – only emergency and local access will be maintained.
• Follow the posted detour signage or plan an alternate route.

As part of the Mississauga Road widening and improvement project, traffic will be shifted from the at-grade temporary roadway crossing onto the new bridge. Once the roadway reopens, two single lanes of traffic will resume on the new bridge to enable removal of the temporary roadway crossing and completion of the bridge.

Construction schedule

Road closure will be in place from Friday, December 5, 2025, to Monday, December 8, 2025.

Use caution when travelling through the work zone and obey all traffic signs, flag persons, and On-duty police officers, when present.
