Road closure and detour notice
Road closure
- Mississauga Road will be temporarily closed from Bovaird Drive West to Yardmaster Drive
- Through traffic not permitted – only emergency and local access will be maintained
- Follow the posted detour signage or plan an alternate route
Construction schedule
Road closure will be in place from Saturday July 18, 2026 to Sunday July 19, 2026.
Construction details
- As part of the Mississauga Road widening and improvement project, surface course asphalt pavement will be placed and final pavement markings applied
- Once the roadway reopens, minimum two single lanes of traffic will resume while last remaining road widening and improvement works are completed throughout Summer 2026.
- Please use caution when travelling through the work zone and obey all traffic signs, flag persons, and On-duty police officers, when present
