Streets affected: Old School Road from Heart Lake Road to Dixie Road
Project update
As part of the Flow | South Caledon Program, Peel Region has been installing a new watermain and sanitary sewer along Dixie Road and Old School Road. This work is required to keep providing you with high-quality water services to the community.
At this stage, temporary lane reductions will be required to safely complete this work.
Traffic impacts
Sections of Old School Road will be reduced to a single shared lane between Heart Lake Road and Dixie Road. Where a single lane is shared with oncoming traffic, please yield to oncoming traffic as stated by the road signage. During this time, traffic will be directed by temporary portable traffic signals. These impacts will take place for approximately one year starting mid-June 2026, weather permitting.
Please expect delays and choose alternate routes if possible.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Visit work zone safety for more information.
