Project 10-1210 C3 – January 13, 2026 update
Streets affected: Heart Lake Road from Old School Road to King Street
Traffic impacts
Peel Region will be installing new watermains along Heart Lake Road from Old School Road to King Street.
At this stage, temporary lane reductions will be required to complete this work.
Heart Lake Road will be reduced to a single shared lane between Old School Road and King Street. Where a single lane is shared with oncoming traffic, please yield to oncoming traffic as stated by the road signs. These impacts will take place from Wednesday, January 21, 2026, until the end of May 2026, weather permitting.
These lanes will be closed only on weekdays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Expect delays and choose alternate routes if possible.
During this time, traffic will be directed by temporary portable traffic signals.
