Construction schedule
Construction is now expected to finish by the end of May, with full restoration planned for mid 2026. This work is taking place at the Burnhamthorpe site in the park north of Burnhamthorpe Road East. These dates may change due to weather and other unexpected events. All work is warrantied for two years from the completion date.
Contractor working hours
The work will be completed by Clearway Construction under contract to Peel Region. Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. These hours are consistent with local municipal bylaws and help shorten the amount of time construction is in your area.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Learn more about work zone safety.
