Community Investment Program funds
We provide grants for not-for-profit agencies to help build the capacity of the sector to better deliver human and social services across Peel Region.
One-time grants are available for Peel's not-for-profit organizations with immediate needs to assist vulnerable clients and residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more about the COVID-19 community funding.

Annual organizational profile
Once a year you will need to update your Service Provider Profile (SPP) with all supporting documents in the Community Investment’s new fund management system GovGrants.
The Core Fund will launch on July 19, 2021.
Applications will be accepted until August 19 at 11:59 p.m.
The Core Fund support agencies to improve their program and service delivery by funding their core operational needs.
The newly established Core Fund places greater focus on alignment to Regional priorities and on increased clarity of eligible core expenses, including new maximum funding amounts.
The Change Fund is now closed.
The Change Fund will look to empower communities and not-for-profit partners to be responsive in addressing complex grassroots, community, and system level issues that align to Regional priorities

The Capacity Fund places a greater focus on the outcome of capacity building rather than the process of capacity building. This new fund is intended to strengthen not-for-profits internal structures and improve their ability to address social issues.
Small Capital Fund
This fund is now closed and will not open in 2021.
The Small Capital Fund supports core operating and small capital expenses. This fund improves service delivery over the long-term, by funding items that maintain or improve the facilities used to run programs across Region of Peel communities.
Community Hub Development Fund
Supports community agencies to conduct feasibility studies and develop strong community hub business plans, aligned to Peel's Community Hub Development Standards. Visit the Community Hub Development Fund page for full details.
Continues current agricultural funding commitments that focus on increased awareness and education of Peel's agricultural community.
Revolving Capital Loan
This interest-free loan supports community partner integration and system improvements with large capital projects through a repayable line of credit.
