Parents who register for the free text messaging program can receive up to 3 text messages a week during pregnancy and through baby’s first year.
Families will learn about:
- Having a healthy pregnancy and birth.
- Physical and mental health.
- Promoting your child’s growth and development
SmartParent is approved by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada and the Canadian Pediatric Society.

If you live in Peel, you can sign up for SmartParent for free on their website or by texting PEEL to 12323.

SmartParent will not charge you to sign up or to receive program text messages. However, standard message and data rates may apply. SmartParent will not ask for your name or other personal health information.
