The Regional Municipality of Peel
By-law number 33-2024

A by-law to reduce the posted speed limit on Regional Road 5 (Derry Road); and to amend By-law Number 15-2013 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel.

WHEREAS, the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 24th day of January 2013 passed By-law 15-2013 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel;

AND WHEREAS, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 23rd day of May, 2024, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend By-law 15-2013 to reduce the posted speed limits on Regional Road 5 (Derry Road) from 70 km/h to 60 km/h from Mississauga Road to 300 metres east of Creditview Road and from McLaughlin Road to 460 metres west of Torbram Road;

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 12 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by deleting the following:

3. That Part 12 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by adding the following:
