Opioid resource web section for health professionals
August 31 was International Overdose Awareness Day. In 2025, Peel had 76 opioid toxicity deaths; 126 paramedic naloxone calls, 924 emergency department visits for suspected opioid toxicity, and 247 confirmed ED presentations for opioid toxicity.
The opioid resources web section is designed to provide health professionals with tools and resources to help them address opioid use with their clients and improve health.
