Nancy Polsinelli, Commissioner of Health Services
Nancy began her professional journey as a dietitian and professional practice lead at William Osler Health System. Since joining Peel Region in 2009, she has held various leadership roles within Peel Region Health Services, including Director of Long-Term Care.
Nancy earned a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nutrition, with a minor in Health Care Management, from the University of Western Ontario. She also holds professional certificates in Advanced Health Leadership from the Rotman School of Management and in Public Policy and Governance from the University of Victoria.
Currently, Nancy is the Co-Chair of Peel Region’s Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan, a collaborative effort involving community, government, health, and social services organizations aimed at addressing community issues that affect the safety and well-being of residents in Peel.
