We deliver volunteer programs in Peel Public Health, Long Term Care, Adult Day Service, Community Support Services and Paramedic Services across Peel Region.

This is not general volunteering across Peel Region. Review this following information carefully to make sure this opportunity is the right fit for you.

If you are a secondary school student looking for your volunteer hours, or a foreign trained health care professional who wants to become familiar with our health programs, we have volunteer opportunities that may interest you.

We even have volunteer roles that are well suited for seniors and retired residents.

Our program is a great fit for volunteers interested in health-focused roles. Take a look at our volunteer opportunities to find a program that is right for you.

We do not offer opportunities in the following areas:

Schools, libraries, recreation, or city-run programs.
General, Peel Region wide or drop-in volunteering.
Hospitals.

We encourage you to connect directly with those organizations, as they manage their own volunteer programs.

Volunteer requirements

Complete an online application
Attend an interview and give two references
Complete a Police Records Check (Certain positions only. Refer to volunteer opportunities for position specific requirements)
Get a 2-step TB test (Long Term Care positions only)
