Sanitary sewer improvement
Notice of temporary road closure Riverwood Terrace. Project 17-2280
The Region of Peel has been working in your area to install new sanitary sewers. At this stage of the project, we will be installing a new sanitary sewer along Riverwood Terrace. Sanitary sewers are underground pipes that carry wastewater from your home to a wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater is created when water goes down the drain or is flushed down the toilet. As our population grows, we need to build new sewers to keep providing high quality wastewater services.
At this stage in the project, a temporary road closure will be required to complete this work.
Traffic impacts
Riverwood Terrace will be closed to all through traffic as shown on the attached map. This temporary road closure is expected to occur from May 7, 2023 until September 30, 2023.
Residents who live on the street will have access to their homes. No through traffic will be allowed and there will be no on-street parking in the affected area.
