Notice of temporary road closure for paving
Railroad Street. Project 19-2300_E
The Region of Peel has been working in your neighborhood to replace the aging sanitary sewer along Railroad Street. This work is required to maintain and improve existing wastewater services.
At this stage in the project, we need to complete paving on Railroad Street where there are tight bends in the road.
Traffic impacts
A temporary road closure will be required on Railroad Street between McMurchy Avenue and West Street. This temporary road closure will take place on Friday June 9, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Residents who live on the closed portion of Railroad Street will have access to their homes. No through traffic will be allowed and there will be no on-street parking.
- During this time, a detour route will be clearly marked with road signs. Please see the attached map for the detour route.
- The City of Brampton transit routes will be adjusted, as shown on the attached sketch.
