Sanitary sewer replacement and improvement
Doncaster Drive and Dartford Road. Project 19-2300E
The Region of Peel will be working in your neighbourhood to replace the aging sanitary sewer along Doncaster Drive and Dartford Road. This work is required to maintain and improve existing wastewater services.
At this stage in the project, we need to install a sewer pipe along Doncaster Drive from Durham Crescent to Dartford Road, and along Dartford Road to Balmoral Drive. Temporary road closures will be required to complete this work.
Traffic impacts – updated March 7, 2023
- Doncaster Drive will be closed from Durham Crescent to Dartford Drive on weekdays from February 27 to March 17, 2023 during the working hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- Dartford Road will be closed from Doncaster Drive to Balmoral Drive on weekdays from March 20 to April 7, 2023 during the working hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
When the work is completed each day, the road closure will cease, and traffic will be allowed to drive through the work zone.
- During this closure, a detour route will be clearly marked with road signs.
- Residents who live on the closed portion of Doncaster Drive and Dartford Road will have access to their homes and businesses.
- While this work is underway, there will be no on-street parking.
- Garbage pickup and routing will not be affected by this closure.
This road closure may cause traffic delays. We ask for your patience and will try to minimize any delays.
