Notice of temporary one-way intersection (westbound only)
Sanitary Sewer Installation East Drive and Torbram Road Project 19-2300E
The Region of Peel has been working in your neighbourhood to install a new sanitary sewer along East Drive. This work is required to maintain and improve existing wastewater services.
At this stage in the project, we need to install infrastructure at the intersection of East Drive and Torbram Road. As this work will occupy the west side of the intersection, we will need to temporarily make the intersection available only to westbound traffic coming from Torbram Road and Walker Drive.
This work is scheduled to begin Monday October 17th at 7:00 am until Friday October 28th at 5:00 pm.
Traffic impacts
- Westbound East Drive will be reduced to one lane from Torbram Road to approximately 300m west of the intersection. These lane reductions are expected to occur. Please expect delays and choose alternate routes if possible. Turning westbound only from your driveway will be required during this work.
- The City of Brampton transit routes will be adjusted, as shown on the attached sketch.
These impacts may cause traffic delays. We ask for your patience and will try to minimize any delays.
