Sanitary sewer construction

McLaughlin Road South and Woodview Park - City of Brampton. Project 11-2371

What are we doing?

The Region of Peel will be working in your neighborhood to replace the aging sanitary sewer along McLaughlin Road South and within Woodview Park. View area map (PDF). The construction of approximately 420 meters of new sanitary sewer will be done by open cut and trenchless methods.

You are NOT required to turn off your water during the work.

Traffic control

During the construction on McLaughlin Road South there will be a partial lane closure to allow for the open trench sanitary sewer work. Construction work in Woodview Park will be done by a combination of open cut and trenchless methods.

Work will be completed maintaining a safe environment as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. If you intend to use the nature trails while work is being completed, please exercise caution when approaching the work zone and provide enough space for the workers to ensure your safety and theirs.

When?

The project should be completed in eight months and is scheduled to begin on or about August 1, 2019.

Project updates

The Region of Peel will keep you informed of any changes in the project. We are committed to ensuring minimum disruption to your homes and businesses.
