Road closure and detour on Mississauga Road
Road Closure
Mississauga Road will be closed from Bovaird Drive West to Yardmaster Drive.
Through traffic not permitted – only emergency and local access will be maintained.
Please follow the posted detour signage or plan an alternate route.
When
The road closure will be in place from Monday June 17, 2024 to Friday June 21, 2024.
Why
As part of the Mississauga Road widening and improvement project, the railway company will be relocating the crossing signals and gates onto an adjacent temporary roadway crossing to allow for new road-over-rail bridge work.
Once the roadway reopens, two single lanes of traffic will resume on a new temporary roadway alignment.
Please use caution when travelling through the work zone and obey all traffic signs, flag persons, and On-duty police officers, when present.
