The Regional Municipality of Peel
By-law number 78-2014

A by-law to reduce the speed limit on Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) from 80 km/hr to 70 km/hr from Hurontario Street to Terry Fox Way/Silken Laumann Way; to reduce the speed limit from 70 km/hr to 60 km/hr on Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) from Creditview Road to 70 metres east of Creditview Road and to amend By-law Number 15-2013 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

Whereas the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 24th day of January 2013 passed By-law 15-2013 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel;

And whereas, the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 11th day of December, 2014 authorized the enactment of a by-law to reduce the speed limit on Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) from 80 km/hr to 70 km/hr from Hurontario Street to Terry Fox Way/Silken Laumann Way;

And whereas, the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 11th day of December, 2014 authorized the enactment of a by-law to reduce the 70 km/hr speed limit to 60 km/hr on Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) from Creditview Road to 70 metres east of Creditview Road;

Now therefore, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 14 of Schedule of By-law 15-2013 is amended by deleting the following:

   Column 1 Regional Road No.	Column 2 From	Column 3 To	Column 4 Times or Days
   3	Hurontario Street	Terry Fox Way / Silken Laumann Way	Anytime

2. That Part 13 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by deleting the following:

   Column 1 Regional Road No.	Column 2 From	Column 3 To	Column 4 Times or Days
   3	Terry Fox Way / Silken Laumann Way	Creditview Road	Anytime

3. That Part 12 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by deleting the following:

   Column 1 Regional Road No.	Column 2 From	Column 3 To	Column 4 Times or Days
   3	Creditview Road	195 metres west of River Grove Avenue / Tillsdown Drive	Anytime

4. That Part 12 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by adding the following:

   Column 1 Regional Road No.	Column 2 From	Column 3 To	Column 4 Times or Days
   3	70 metres of Creditview Road	195 metres west of River Grove Avenue / Tillsdown Drive	Anytime

5. That Part 13 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by adding the following:

   Column 1 Regional Road No.	Column 2 From	Column 3 To	Column 4 Times or Days
   3	70 metres east of Creditview Road	Hurontario Street	Anytime
