The Regional Municipality of Peel
By-law number 50-2017

A by-law to reduce the speed limits on Regional Road 11 (Forks of the Credit Road/Bush Street); to designate Community Safety Zones on Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road/Old Main Street) and Regional Road 11 (Forks of the Credit Road/Bush Street) within the Hamlet of Belfountain; and to amend By-law Number 15-2013 being, a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel.

Whereas, the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 24th day of January, 2013 passed By-law 15-2013 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel;

And whereas, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 26th day of October, 2017, authorized the enactment of a by-law to reduce the speed limits on Regional Road 11 (Forks of the Credit Road / Bush Street) from 50 km/h to 40 km/h from 110 metres east of Mississauga Road to Scott Street, and from 150 metres east of Shaws Creek Road to Shaws Creek Road, and from 80 km/h to 50 km/h from 90 metres west of Shaws Creek Road to 150 metres west of Shaws Creek Road;

And whereas, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 26th day of  October, 2017, authorized the enactment of a by-law to designate Community Safety Zones on Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road / Old Main Street) 30 metres south of Woodland Court to Regional Road 11 (Bush Street), and on Regional Road 11 (Forks of the Credit Road / Bush Street) 80 metres east of Mississauga Road to 120 metres west of Shaws Creek Road

Now therefore, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

  1. That Part 10 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by deleting the following:
