The Regional Municipality of Peel
By-law number 64-2026

A by-law to prohibit westbound left turn from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays at the intersection of Regional Road 50 (Queen Street South) and Willow Street; and to amend By-law 15-2013 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel.

Whereas, under the provisions of section 11(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. 2001, Chapter 25 as amended, the Council of the Regional Corporation may pass by-laws respecting highways, including parking and traffic on Highways, under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel (“the Regional Corporation”);

And whereas, the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 24th day of January 2013 passed By-law 15-2013 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel;

And whereas, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 24th day of September, 2026, authorized the enactment of a by-law to prohibit westbound left turn from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday at the intersection of Regional Road 50 (Queen Street South) and Willow Street;

Now therefore, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 23 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by adding the following:
