The Regional Municipality of Peel
By-law number 36-2026
A by-law to amend the Region of Peel Procedure By-law 27-2022, as amended, being a by-law to govern the calling, place and proceedings of Council and its committees and the conduct of its members.
AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution passed on the 28th day of May 2026 authorized the enactment of the by-law herein to amend section 4.1 Agenda – Council and Committees, of By-law 27-2022;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:
That section 4.1 Agenda – Council and Committees, of By-law 27-2022 be amended to add:
4.1.9 Notwithstanding section 4.1.8, the following items shall not be placed on consent:
a. matters and/or reports for which an oral report or update is being provided;
b. matters that are listed under presentations of staff reports on the agenda; and
c. recommendation reports related to labour relations and employment matters.- That this by-law take effect upon enactment.
