The Regional Municipality of Peel
By-law number 14-2026

A by-law to remove a left turn signal for westbound to southbound left turns at the intersection of Regional Road 5 (Derry Road West) and John Watt Boulevard/Envoy Drive, and to amend By-law Number 15-2013, being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel.

Whereas, under the provisions of section 11(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. 2001, Chapter 25 as amended, the Council of the Regional Corporation may pass by-laws respecting highways, including parking and traffic on Highways, under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel (“the Regional Corporation”);

And whereas, the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 24th day of January 2013 passed By-law 15-2013 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel;

And whereas, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 12th day of February, 2026, authorized the enactment of a by-law to remove a left turn signal for westbound to southbound left turns at the intersection of Regional Road 5 (Derry Road West) and John Watt Boulevard / Envoy Drive;

Now therefore, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 17 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 is amended by deleting the following:

   Intersection	Direction of Movement
   Regional Road 5 and John Watt Boulevard / Envoy Drive	Westbound to southbound
