October 17 is Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day.
We would like to acknowledge the dedicated early childhood professionals who care for Peel's children and families.
Early childhood educators are trained experts in early childhood development who are essential to our Peel community. They help Peel’s youngest minds develop and thrive through child-centred, play-based learning.
Early childhood professionals working in licensed child care make it possible for parents and guardians to work outside of their home, knowing their children are safely cared for.
In addition to providing quality licensed child care, early childhood professionals support families through EarlyON programs so families and their children can learn, play, and grow together in engaging and inclusive spaces.
