Grown in Peel connects residents to fresh, local produce
BRAMPTON, ON (May 1, 2024) – Grown in Peel continues to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers in Peel, making it easier for residents to shop and enjoy local products.
Through the Grown in Peel Local Food Guide, residents can explore various locally grown products available to them, such as fruits, vegetables, honey, meats, eggs, nursery stock items, and more. The guide also features an interactive map, where users can easily locate farms and farmers’ markets, and find more information, including product availability, contact information, operating hours, and special events and activities.
There are many opportunities to enjoy time outdoors with family and friends by picking fresh, local produce or participating in a variety of events and activities offered throughout the year.
Find the freshest selections of berries in the summer, apples in the fall, and meats in the winter, by visiting local farms or farmers' markets. For more information on what’s in season, check out Grown in Peel!
