Enjoy guided tours of PAMA’s historic spaces along with creative activities all summer long, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends! Whether you’re looking to immerse yourself in art and history or are seeking fun activities for the kids, PAMA offers a diverse range of programs and exhibitions to explore, create and enjoy.
Also, did you know that if you have a library card in Peel Region (Brampton, Caledon, or Mississauga) you can sign up for a FREE family pass which is a great way to tour PAMA free this summer. Plan your local summer adventure today!

Saturdays and Sundays, 1 – 4:30 p.m.Explore exhibitions and connect over self-guided art projects that inspire creativity. Do-it-yourself studio time activities change every month.
July’s activity: Get in the spirit of the dog days of summer with a unique activity inspired by the exhibition Oh My Dog!
Stories of Home Workshop: Madhubani Art
July 4, 7 – 8:30 p.m.Discover one of India’s vibrant artistic traditions with artist Ritika Kochhar and try your hand at the ancient art of Madhubani painting. Discover the rich history and symbolism of this centuries-old art form, which traditionally emphasizes the importance of nature. Be guided through Madhubani’s precise painting techniques, using bold colours and intricate patterns to create colourful and lively bird portraits. Take home both your own beautiful Madhubani artwork and a greater love for this aspect of India’s rich cultural heritage.
No prior experience necessary. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Registration required. Public: $17.50 +HST, Members: $15 +HST.
Playful Transitions and Variations of Down Dog and Up Dog in Yoga
July 13, 10:30 – 11:45 a.m.Downward and Upward Facing Dog are yoga poses that originated from observing dogs and appreciating the gracious way they stretch and move. Sometimes, teachers call these poses using shortcuts: down-dog and up-dog.
This class led by Tere Lopez intends to resonate with an art exhibition about dogs! It will navigate through the dog poses (up and down dog) carefully and playfully. We will use them as a baseline to transition to other basic postures and explore different variations of it, some simple dogs, soft and quiet, and others funky and revolutionary!
With this consistent body canine imitation, we may discover what humans have to do with dogs and each other.
The class has a maximum of 20 participants. Please bring a mat and any other yoga props required. Registration required. Public: $17.50 +HST, Members: $15 +HST.
Books and Comic Workshop with Brampton Library
July 21, 2 – 3:30 p.m.Fans of Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man will love this comic workshop hosted in partnership with the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA). Let’s talk about books you will love and then make a comic with a PAMA Educator! After the workshop, borrow a PAMA library pass to visit the Oh My Dog! Art Gallery exhibition for free.
This free program will be hosted at the Four Corners Brampton Library Branch.
