Explore Peel on Wheels this Bike Month!

Brampton, ON (May 27, 2024) – Bike Month is an annual event being celebrated from May 27 through June 28 across Peel Region that offers opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities to try riding a bike for the first time, learn new skills, explore Peel, and connect with people in their community through cycling!

Riding a bike is a healthy way to explore Peel and its growing network of bike routes. Peel features 390 kilometers of trails, sidewalks, and cross rides to discover and enjoy. Let your bike take you on an adventure in your neighbourhood and share that joy with the next generation of bike riders!

Bike to School Week 2024

Students in Peel are celebrating the joy and possibilities of riding a bike! Bike to School Week signals the beginning of Bike Month and takes place from May 27 through June 28, with each school deciding which week is best to celebrate. Biking to school is a great way for kids to complete their daily physical activity and build healthy habits, and is also proven to improve school performance and mental health.
