Canada Day Holiday Service Hours at Peel Region

Brampton, ON. (June 26, 2024) - Peel Region offices and non-emergency services will be closed for Canada Day on Monday, July 1, 2024 and will reopen Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Human Services

Early Years and Child Care Services, including Child Care Subsidy, will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024, for Canada Day and reopen on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Housing Services, Client Services will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024, for Canada Day and reopen on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Ontario Works in Peel

Ontario Works will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024, and will reopen on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Vaccination Clinics

Peel Public Health vaccination clinics, which offer routine school immunization (book here) and vaccines required under the Immunization of School Pupils Act (book by calling 905-799-7700) will be open through the summer months. Vaccination clinics will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024.

TransHelp

All trips for Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2, must be booked by 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 30.

We offer bookings up to 7 days in advance. Consider booking your next trip early to ensure your holiday travel.

Visit Brampton Transit and Mississauga Transit for holiday schedules.

Waste collection Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon

On Monday, July 1, there will be no waste collection. Waste will be collected one day later that week Check your collection calendar to find your pickup day or sign up to receive free waste collection reminders.

All Community Recycling Centres (CRC’s) will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024, and will resume regular operations on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)

PAMA will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024.
