Inserts of the Self Series
My art style is more post-impressionistic meets surrealism, with baroque elements. My most recent art pieces contain elements from music I've listened to or movies and shows I've watched. I took artistic liberties to produce what those media made me feel in those moments. Each art piece has a unique element of my own identity and psyche in the mix. For this reason, I call my showcase Inserts of The Self.

I was listening to a song called "When will I see you again" and it inspired me to create this drawing of myself lost in my own thoughts

Paradise Jacamar
Birds of the Amazon is a series that features exotic birds that live in the Amazon Rainforest. They were originally made for a school project to spread awareness for protecting the Rainforest. The background in the Paradise Jacamar consists of multiple hues and tints of green which further provide a "rainforest" feeling. In Nesting Birds, the image of 2 birds peeking out of the nest demonstrates the principle of variety.

The artist Myths Future finds great fascination in portraiture as she illustrates, and designs faces in many of her work. She believes that her identity is constantly changing, and it’s being manifested in the variety of faces she designs. Her work reflects her current state of mind and how she views the world. The artist creates work that disturbs the mind and does not fall under “conventional aesthetics”. As she explores work, she is discovering herself bit by bit.

TO
On a clear night you can see the cities around Lake Ontario light up the horizon all the way to the other side. Port Credit is experiencing the effects of gentrification at a fast pace, having lost its main grocery store. From each balcony we all look out at each other

Of Human Faces and Figures, Pencil on paper
This work is a single-line pencil sketch, done on sketchbook paper. The idea of drawing without lifting the pencil from the page has always appealed to me. This sketch is part of a series, Of Human Faces and Figures, that are all drawn with the same technique.

The Other Side
The Other Side represents how the small things in life can affect others in a larger way than we realize. A small action can make a big difference in someone's day or even life. Positivity is contagious so why not spread more of that? It's the little things that make a difference on "The Other Side".
