Inspiring stories
of women in the PAMA collections
Stories of inspiring women are found in all three of the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives' collections.
Some of the names are familiar, like Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables or Olympic medalist Stéphanie Dixon. But many others have faded from the public’s memory.
This year, we have added the stories of artists:
Each woman has shaped our community. There are many stories to share, and this exhibition will grow over time.
