Finding your way
Doors and hallways in our Butterfly home areas are decorated to look more inviting. Colourful and familiar images reduce our residents’ stress and possible confusion. Distinct doorways help orient people to their space, whether to their own room or to a common area that they frequent. Additionally, each Butterfly household has unique front porches that are representative of the people living in it.
Our porch with the red door is from Edinburgh and was a chosen as a nod to or residents from England, Ireland and Scotland. Our blue door porch recreates the look of a stone villa and garden, selected for our residents from Italy, Portugal, and the West Indies.
