Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival Cancelled

Come out and tap into spring! Enjoy demonstrations, wagon rides, activities, and of course pancakes and real maple syrup!

Special family-fun activities on weekends and March Break!

Dates and times vary at each location:

Terra Cotta Conservation Area
Weekends (March 5 – April 3) and March Break (March 12-20) 9:30 am to 5 pm

Island Lake Conservation Area
March Break Only (March 12-20) 9:30 am to 3 pm

Island Lake will be running a free shuttle on weekends during the festival from the parking lot between Walmart and Best Buy in Orangeville from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Avoid parking and line ups!

Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) festival locations include: Bruce’s Mill in Stouffville and Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughn.

Pancakes breakfast served all-day. Additional meal options available at each location. Additional fees apply.

At PAMA: Fabulous Fictions and Peculiar Practices: Tony Calzetta and Leon Rooke All Day

Held in conjunction with the inaugural Brampton Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD), this exhibition highlights the artistic collaboration of painter, draughtsman and printmaker, Tony Calzetta, and poet, novelist and painter, Leon Rooke that led to the creation of their book project entitled Fabulous Fictions & Peculiar Practices. In this pop-up limited edition exhibition, politics and economics mix with fictional discussions involving art critics, artists and even God. The exhibition coincides with the launch of the book’s trade edition by Erin, Ontario-based Porcupine’s Quill.

Bring the family for fun-filled programs exploring the connection between art and early literacy. This collaboration between PAMA and an Early Literacy Specialist will engage families with hands-on activities to inspire lifelong learning. Each month will feature a different story and art project.
