Donating items for reuse
We encourage you to donate items that are in good condition. By donating items, you help give discarded items a chance at a new life.
In partnership with charitable community organizations, Peel Region offers various ways to donate clothing, other textiles, and household items.
Community Recycling Centres (CRCs)
You can drop off your donation items at a Peel Community Recycling Centre free of charge.
Check which items are accepted at:
- The Salvation Army Donor Welcome Centres (in Brampton and Mississauga)
- Caledon Community Services' Evolve Lifestyle store
As a reminder:
- Discarded items that are oversized, in poor condition, or missing parts may not be accepted for reuse. A disposal fee may apply to these items.
- CRC employees have the right to refuse items due to sanitary, health, or safety concerns.
Textile Sheds
Drop off clothing and other textiles in good condition at a Diabetes Canada textile shed at 10 Peel Centre Drive and 7120 Hurontario Street. Check acceptable items.
