Donating items for reuse
Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) and textile sheds accept many reusable items in good condition.
We've partnered with charitable community organizations to provide options for donating clothing, other textiles, and household items.
Where to donate
CRCs
You can drop off your donation items at a Peel Community Recycling Centre free of charge.
Check which items are accepted at:
- The Salvation Army Donor Welcome Centres (in Brampton and Mississauga)
- Caledon Community Services' Evolve Lifestyle store
As a reminder:
- Discarded items that are oversized, in poor condition, or missing parts may not be accepted for reuse. A disposal fee may apply to these items.
- CRC employees have the right to refuse items due to sanitary, health, or safety concerns.
Share, Reuse, Repair Hub
Keep items in use for as long as possible by swapping, reselling, or donating them. Visit Circular Innovation Council's Share, Reuse, Repair hub for ways to reuse.
Textile Sheds
Drop off clothing and other textiles in good condition at a Diabetes Canada textile shed at 10 Peel Centre Drive and 7120 Hurontario Street. Check acceptable items.
