Applying for your permit 10 working days before your filming:

Complete the Road Closure Application (PDF) form.

Include a letter of intent that details:

Your completed insurance certificate (PDF). Your insurance certificate must:

Submission and Payment by Credit Card

Payment of $200 per application may be made by Visa, MasterCard

Pay in-person and deliver your other application items to:

Submission and Payment by Cheque

Make the cheque in the amount $200, payable to the Region of Peel.

Mail or deliver your cheque along with your completed application, insurance certificate and letter of intent to:

Your letter of intent, insurance certificate and payment is required a minimum of ten (10) working days prior to filming on Regional Roads, in order to process and approve the permit.


After you submit your application package

Once we've received the above items, we'll e-mail or fax an Approval Letter with a permit number and Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement to you.

Please return the signed Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement at least 1 week before your filming date and follow all the conditions outlined in your approved permit.

If you need to cancel

If you need to cancel filming, you must notify the Region of Peel.
