Free CPR event in Celebration Square – Mississauga
CPR » Know it » Do it » Save a Life.
Peel Regional Paramedic Services and Councillors Saito and Fonseca are hosting a FREE hands-only CPR event.
Wednesday July 9
6:30 to 7:15 p.m.
Celebration Square in Mississauga
(between a World Cup soccer game and a Zumba class)
As a participant, you’ll learn and practice the life-saving skill of chest compressions on mannequins.
Hands-only CPR keeps blood and oxygen flowing to the heart and brain; it increases someone’s chances for survival once paramedics arrive or a defibrillator is applied.
Thank you to our many partners who will be on-hand to help deliver this important training and message:
- The Mikey Network
- Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services
- St. John Ambulance
- Peel Paramedic Association
- Peel Regional Police
Please note: This is not a CPR certification course. If you require CPR certification, please visit The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, The Canadian Red Cross, the Peel Paramedic Association or St. John Ambulance. Please note that course length and fees may vary.
