Labour Day Holiday Service Hours at the Region of Peel

Brampton, ON. (August 29, 2023) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the Labour Day Holiday on Monday, September 4, 2023.

The following non-emergency services are closed and will reopen on Tuesday, September 5, 2023:

Vaccination Clinics

All public and community clinics will be closed Monday, September 4, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 5.

To book your appointment, COVID-19 vaccine.

Ontario Works in Peel

Ontario Works will be closed on Monday, September 4, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 5.

Emergency shelter, food or personal support

For urgent homelessness supports, including food, supplies, referrals, and shelter, call the Street Helpline 24/7 at 1-877-848-8481. For information on emergency shelter, visit the emergency shelter web page or call 905-450-1996.

Peel Living Maintenance Requests

TransHelp

To travel on Monday, Sept. 4 and Tuesday, Sept. 5 you must call 905-791-1015 and book by 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3

We offer bookings up to 7 days in advance. Consider booking your next trip early to ensure your holiday travel.

Visit Brampton Transit and Mississauga Transit for holiday schedules.

Waste collection Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon

There will be no waste collection on Monday, September 4. Waste will be collected one day later that week. Check your collection calendar to find your pickup day or sign up to receive free waste collection reminders.

All Community Recycling Centres are closed on Monday, September 4, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 5.

Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)

Explore, connect, and create at PAMA! Explore the Art Gallery, Museum, the historic Peel County Courthouse and Jail. PAMA will be closed on Monday, September 4 and reopen on Tuesday, September 5.
