Contact a Public Health Inspector

If you have a complaint or a concern about:

  • an animal bite
  • food safety at a restaurant or an event after which people have gotten sick
  • prohibited smoking
  • tobacco sales to under-aged youth
  • unsanitary or unsafe conditions where personal services, such as tattooing or body piercing, are offered

Please contact Peel Public Health by email or by calling: 905-799-7700. When emailing, be sure to include the following information: 1) Your name, 2) Your phone number, 3) Name of the facility, and 4) Address of the facility.

To report a food poisoning:

Call Peel Public Health at 905-799-7700 immediately. You can call after normal business hours and on weekends. If you have leftover food that you suspect made you sick, please keep it in a refrigerator in case we need to do a lab test.
