Accessible Customer Service Training
The Accessible Customer Service Regulation 429/07 under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 requires many service providers and vendors to be compliant by 2012, however if a vendor or service provider is delivering a service on behalf of the Region of Peel, they must be compliant by January 1, 2010. The following items have been posted to provide vendors and service providers delivering services on behalf of the Region of Peel access to accessible customer service training material. Vendors and Service Providers are not obligated to use the resources posted below for delivering training to their staff, however service providers and vendors must track the training of their employees and may be asked to produce a record of completed training upon request.
