Erin Mills Parkway corridor improvements
Road Resurfacing on Erin Mills Parkway between Credit Valley Road & Erin Centre Boulevard, Credit Valley Road and Britannia Road, city of Mississauga. Projects 19-4135 and 20-4263
Milling and paving works on Erin Mills Parkway between Credit Valley Road and Erin Centre Boulevard will start on July 19th and continue until July 30th (weather permitting).
This work is planned as a 24-hour operation with milling and paving operations during nighttime and daytime hours. We understand that this will cause inconvenience but will speed up the completion of the project.
Night work
Work during night is meant to minimize traffic disruption while maintaining a safe working environment required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Please note that this is a moving operation and as such, residents adjacent to Erin Mills Parkway will temporarily experience increased noise levels due to truck beeping sounds and honking horns, while the work is being done.
Traffic impacts
Milling and paving operations will be phased to minimize disruption to traffic. However, due to the nature of the works, multiple lane closures will be required and left turning movements at intersections may be temporarily blocked while work progresses. Also, the traffic may be shifted to the other side of the road between intersections. Pay duty police will be on site to assist in maintaining traffic during construction.
