Monitoring Policies
A review and update of Peel ROP monitoring policies is required to ensure they remain effective and consider provincial policy direction and legislation that is being changed or enacted.
A comprehensive review will also be conducted of all indicators in the Peel Region Official Plan Monitoring Program (ROPMP) that are linked to several Peel ROP policies; as well as an examination of how often data for each indicator is available.
It is also recognized that the area municipalities undertake monitoring of their Official Plans and the Region will consolidate the area municipalities’ work as required.
