Your mental health matters!
Newcomers discussed their experiences with mental health during and after migration. They explored the impacts of stress on the body and underwent a body mapping exercises. They received community resources to receive mental health supports including access to Moyo’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Support program. The participants shared images symbolizing their journey with their mental health.
I share a picture of how I deal with my stress. I wanted to portray how I feel whenever I get stressed and everything in the world starts to seem useless. An environment that is very calm and gloomy. I always think how I should relax and how I can make myself happy and lighten up my mood.
