Adult Day Service Programs

Malton Village ADS 2: Horticultural therapy brings out the green thumbs of ADS participants.

Malton Village Adult Day Services

Days: Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Weekends: Saturday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Adult Day Service, located at Malton Village Long Term Care Centre, is a vibrant and interactive program that is designed to provide social, therapeutic and recreational opportunities for older adults, while also providing respite relief for caregivers. The ADS has dedicated and caring professionals within the program to support participants including ADS Assistants, Support Workers, Registered Nurse, and Social Worker.

Program Features:

We offer personal care services such as toileting, bathing, medication management, assistance with meals, and gait training. We have programs provided by a variety of professionals including horticultural therapy, and music and art therapy. Physiotherapy services are provided in the program three times per week and group exercise programs are offered five days a week. In addition we have a partnership with the Central West Community Care Access Centre to offer exercise and falls prevention classes for our community seniors. To register for these classes, please call (905)796-0040.
