Tracy MacCharles summarized recent accessibility accomplishments in Ontario including: the enactment of The Ontarians with Disabilites Act (ODA), 2001; the enactment of The Accessibilities for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005; the establishment of Accessibility Standards Committees; the development of Accessibility Standards; and the adoption of accessibility compliance and enforcement regulations.
