The Regional Municipality of Peel
By-law number 32-2022

A by-law to amend By-law 43-2002 titled the “Fees By-law”, as amended, to add fees for electric vehicle charging stations.

Whereas, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel (“Regional Corporation”) on July 11, 2002 passed By-law 43-2002 to impose fees and charges for services or activities provided by the Regional Corporation, or for the use of its property, referred to as the “Fees By-law”;

And whereas, the Council of the Regional Corporation on December 2, 2021 passed By-law 65-2021 to amend the Fees By-law 43-2002;

And whereas, the Council of the Regional Corporation has by resolution adopted on May 26, 2022, authorized the enactment of the by-law herein to further amend the Fees By-law 43-2002 to add fees for electric vehicle charging stations;

Now therefore, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Schedule A to By-law 43-2002, as amended by By-law 65-2021, is amended by adding the following fees to Schedule A Part 1: CORPORATE SERVICES – General Corporate, which fees shall be implemented to take effect commencing September 6, 2022 as follows:

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Level 3 (50 kW DCFC) Electric Vehicle Charging Station Use	Per Hour Plugged-In (prorated)	$6.91 ($0.115/minute)	+	$7.80 ($0.130/minute)

*These fees for Level 2 and Level 3 Electric Vehicle Charging Station Use take effect commencing September 6, 2022.
