Peel has administered 1 million vaccine doses
Reaching this milestone is proof of the incredible progress weve made together in the fight against COVID-19.
There has never been a greater time to recognize the dedication of our community.
Thank you to everyone who has come out to get their vaccine, or has helped their family, friends or colleagues get vaccinated. This milestone is also a reminder that we must continue to do our part by remaining vigilant and working together to keep each other healthy and safe.
We continue to work towards getting 75% of the Peel community vaccinated with their first dose. Initiatives such as mobile clinics, targeted pop ups, and centralized vaccination centres will help us reach the most vulnerable people who have not yet received their first dose, and prepare to administer second doses.
Anyone who’s 12 years or older and lives, works, or attends school in Peel can book a vaccine appointment.
