Soil investigation adjacent to Mississauga Waterfront Trail

The Region of Peel is continuing environmental soil investigation work in preparation for the community revitalization and master plan work planned for south Mississauga.
The soil investigation will take place adjacent to the Mississauga Waterfront Trail, south of Lakeshore Blvd. E., in Mississauga.
The Mississauga Waterfront Trail will remain open during the work. Trail users are asked not to cross any temporary barriers and should use caution when workers are present. Cyclists should consider traveling at a reduced speed.
Work is expected to begin spring 2024. The work will be intermittent over several weeks.
