The Region of Peel relies on the efforts of over 3,000 volunteers to improve the accessibility and quality of services available to the residents of Peel. Volunteers help support Human Services, Health Services, Long Term Care, Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA), and Public Works initiatives; and the Julie Di Girolamo Volunteerism Award recognizes outstanding Region of Peel volunteers who have made exceptional contributions to their community.
