Where Does Your Waste Go? Find Out at Region of Peel Community Fun Day: October 20

BRAMPTON, ON (October 16, 2018) – Do you ever wonder where your waste goes after it’s picked up? Find out at the Region of Peel’s free Community Fun Day this Saturday, October 20 – from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Families and youth groups are welcome at the Peel Integrated Waste Management Facility, which is located at 7795 Torbram Road in Brampton. We have lots of fun and freebies for everyone.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or have their written permission, to attend the event. No dogs allowed. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. The facility is wheelchair accessible.

What’s happening?

Check out our demonstrations and the facility where we sort your recycling. You can also learn how your green cart organic waste starts its journey to become compost.

See our collection vehicles and get free compost for a textile or food donation. There are also give-aways, a grand prize and barbeque (while quantities last).
